The National Horse and Pony Rescue announces their first annual calendar launch which celebrates the fresh start to life the beloved Rescue horses have been given. The calendars will be available for purchase on the website (coming soon), at various saddlery stores and feed merchants in the Northern NSW area and by phone or email order. All purchases are Tax Deductable.
Founded by Kylie Kawecki in early 2012 and situated in the beautiful Bilambil Valley, Northern NSW, The National Horse and Pony Rescue helps neglected, abused, unwanted and slaughter bound horses and ponies, giving them first class rehabilitation, medical attention and training. The Rescue aims to work with the racing and breeding industries by providing them with an alternative to slaughter. The National Horse and Pony Rescue adopts these horses out to loving homes on a lifetime contract, with 24 hour support to the new owners for the life of the horse.
The National Horse and Pony Rescue promotes healthy horse care and is driven to provide educational programs, training clinics and in the future Equine Facilitated Therapy. They believe that all horses and ponies are deserving of an ongoing duty of care which extends beyond the Rescue.
The Rescue is a newly registered charity looking for volunteers, sponsors and donations from the public to help rehabilitate these lovely horses. Aspiring to develop Rescue centres around Australia, The National Horse and Pony Rescue is constantly looking for volunteers and beneficiaries to help make this aspiration possible. If you can help in any way, whether it be a gold coin donation, adopting a horse or pony, participating in fundraising activities, becoming a member or by providing a property to operate from, please contact The National Horse and Pony Rescue Founder Kylie Kawecki on 0416 739 528 or by email at kylienhpr@hotmail.com or the secretary Elise Linkins on 0401798584 or by email at eliselinkins@hotmail.com. Website and facebook page coming soon.
