Arcadia rider Judy Dierks has taken out the Mulawa Performance Grand Prix CDI-W at the 2016 NSW Dressage Championships.

Dierks rode a stunning test on Diamond Star, owned by Vicki Newham, to take yesterday’s (Friday) class with 69.080%.
Heath Ryan on Anthony Thornhill’s Utopian Cardinal – the son of Ryan’s well-known stallion Regardez Moi – was second with 67.6%, with Brett Parbery riding Gregory Farrell’s Aber Hallo 29 in third with 66.280%.
The last time a CDI-W was at the NSW Dressage Championships was in 2004. The CDI-W is a qualification event for the Pacific League World Cup Final that will be held in New Zealand in February 2017.
More than 275 horses guided by 215 riders entered this year’s championships, which continue today at Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC) at Horsley Park.
The ever-popular Equestrian NSW FEI Grand Prix Freestyle CDI-W takes place from 5.30pm in the indoor arena, and spectators are welcome.
