As you may know, there are many demands on the equine athlete and it can be quite frustrating for horse owners when it comes to problems affecting their horses’ performance. It can be equally, if not more, frustrating trying to determine the cause. Horse owners want the best care for their horses which is why it is important to know what healthy movement is, how to identify gait issues, and what the difference is between posture and conformation.
Maureen Rogers, founder of Equine CranioSacral Workshops and international pioneer of Equine CranioSacral Therapy, has worked with thousands of horses and is a leader in identifying equine biomechanical and movement issues. She has produced remarkable results with her techniques in horses of all kinds of disciplines: dressage, eventers, showjumpers, hunter/jumpers, racehorses, barrel racers and pleasure horses.
Rogers will be presenting an educational workshop open to horse owners and professionals on what is healthy movement in the horse during one-day Equine Assessment Workshops: December 13, 2015 at Gatton Indoor Arena, Gatton, QLD.
The one-day Equine Assessment Workshop covers:
- How to identify, and what the difference is between, posture and conformation
- How to identify biomechanical issues that are affecting your horses performance.
- How to identify Low back issues, lameness issues, Hock/stifle problems
- Ways to keep your horse healthy and sound
Rogers is internationally known and travels worldwide for teaching, lectures, and private consultations, working in conjunction with veterinarians, equine dentists, trainers, physiotherapists, and horse owners throughout the U.S., U.K., Europe and Australia. Rogers is also the producer of a 70-minute DVD called “Conformation vs Posture Myths Unveiled”, which is available upon request.
